14th Annual Arts and Crafts Festival and Portfolio Viewing
The children have been working hard creating beautiful works of art for our 14th Annual Arts and Crafts Festival and Portfolio Viewing on Tuesday, May 12th and Wednesday, May 13th. See the schedule for your child’s class. If you have more than one child at OCP, feel free to choose one scheduled time for your family.

Yoga with Miss Kim
Miss Kim will do Yoga with the children on Monday, May 4th and Tuesday, May 5th.
We’re Planting on the Playground!
Ms. Tansey will be planting with the children in our raised garden bed on Thursday, May 14th and Friday, May 15th.
Nursery Bubble Day
Thursday, May 21st and Friday, May 22nd. The Nursery Classes will have an exciting Bubble Day.
PreK “Sidewalk Chalk Challenge”
Thursday, May 21st and Friday, May 22nd. The PreK Classes will compete in a class “Sidewalk Chalk Challenge” …. Which class will be the big winner?!
Memorial Day
Owl’s Crossing Preschool will be closed on Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day.
***PreK Jungle Jim Superhero Training***Tuesday, May 26th
Jungle Jim will be here on Tuesday, May 26th for all PreK Classes. We would like to invite all PreK Classes to come for a pizza lunch at 11:30am and stay for Superhero Training. Children who are in the PM PreK class will remain at school until their scheduled pick-up time. Children who are not in the PM PreK class will need to be picked up at 1:45pm. Please confirm with your classroom teacher so that we can get a head count for pizza.
Teddy Bear Picnic for all Classes
Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th
Bring your favorite Teddy Bear to school. We will provide a special “Beary” yummy snack.

Letter recognition will include Vv, Ww, Xx.
Lively Letters
Review!
Color Review, Number 9 and 10, and Shape Review
We will be reviewing all we learned this year!
Outdoor Play
With the nice weather, so comes spring and summer shoes. We ask that you send your child to school with closed toe shoes, sneakers, or secure sandals with socks. Please no flip flops or slides! The children love to run and climb on the playground and have difficulty with the woodchips when wearing open-toed shoes or loose shoes.
