Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher Conferences are Monday, February 2nd and Tuesday, February 3rd.

Owl’s Crossing Post Office

The Owl’s Crossing Post Office will be open this month so that we can “mail” Valentine’s to our loved ones!

Yoga for Nursery Classes

Miss Kim will be here on Monday, February 9th and Tuesday, February 10th to do Yoga with all classes.

Valentine’s Day Cards/Parties

Please have your child bring in a valentine for each child in their class.  The children will deliver their valentines to their friends on Thursday, February 12th and Friday, February 13th during their Valentine’s Day Party!  Your child can sign their name if they can.  No need to address their cards with their classmates’ names.

February School Vacation

February 16th through February 20th.  Enjoy!

Hootie’s Safety Lessons

Hootie’s Safety Tip #2 is “Crosswalk Safety”.  On Tuesday, February 24th and Wednesday, February 25th, we will talk about how to safely cross the street and reinforce with a fun song: “Look all ways when you cross the street.  Pay attention to your feet.  Look to the left and look to the right.  Make sure there are no cars in sight. Look all ways when you cross the street.  Staying safe is really neat!”.

We’re Making Healthy Fruit Salad!

Bring a favorite piece of fruit to school on Thursday, February 26th and Friday, February 27th to add to our class fruit salad!

Fit and Fun Day!

Thursday, February 26th and Friday, February 27th we will be celebrating “Healthy Me” with a fun day of fitness activities.

PreK Lively Letters Sounds

This month the PreK classes will focus on the letter sound I, W.

Letter Days for PreK

PreK will also work on Letter Recognition of Mm, Nn.

Outside Play Clothes

With the cold and snowy weather upon us, please send in snow pants, snow boots, warm jacket, hat, mittens, and extra socks every day.  Please send in a change of shoes or slippers for your child to change into after playing on the playground.  Please label all clothing with your child’s name.

We will be closed on Thursday, March 12th for Owl’s Crossing Preschool Teacher Professional Development Day.
