Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss
We will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday throughout the month of March. We will be voting on our favorite Dr. Seuss book; The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, or One Fish Two Fish. Which one will win?!
Owl’s Café for PreK Classes
Owl’s Café will be open for the PreK Classes on Tuesday, March 10th and Wednesday, March 11th.
Reminder, Professional Development Day, Thursday, March 12th
Owl’s Crossing Preschool will be closed on Thursday, March 12th for the teachers to participate in a day of Professional Development.
St. Patrick’s Day Parties
We will celebrate the “Luck of the Irish” on Monday, March 16th and Tuesday, March 17th. We will provide a fun-themed snack today!
Yoga with Miss Kim
Miss Kim will be here to do yoga with ALL classes on Monday, March 16th and Tuesday, March 17th.
Hootie’s Safety Lessons
“Hootie’s Safety Tip #2” was “Look All Ways When Crossing the Street”. The children learned the song to the tune of “Twinkle, Twinkle”: “Look all ways when you cross the street, pay attention to your feet. Look to the left, and look to the right, make sure there are no cars in sight! Look all ways when you cross the street, staying safe is really neat!” Safety Lesson #3 will be Wednesday, March 18th and Thursday, March 19th.
Dinosaur Days!
We will have a fun filled day exploring all things “Dinosaur” on Thursday, March 26th and Friday, March 27th.
Crazy Hat Day!
Come to school with your craziest hat on Monday, March 30th and Tuesday, March 31st.
PreK Lively Letters for PreK
New sounds for the letters “H, X, and Y” will be introduced this month.
Letter Days for PreK
“O, P, and Q” will be introduced for Letter Recognition Days.
Save the Date – 14th Annual Arts and Crafts Festival and Portfolio Viewing
The 14th Annual “Owl’s Crossing Arts Festival and Portfolio Viewing” will be held on Tuesday, May 12th and Wednesday, May 13th. Schedule and Class Details to follow!
