Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss
We will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday throughout the month of March. We will be voting on our favorite Dr. Seuss book; The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, or One Fish Two Fish. Which one will win?!
Yoga with Miss Kim
Miss Kim will be here to do yoga with ALL classes on Monday, March 6th and Tuesday, March 7th.
Owl’s Crossing “Drive-In Workshop”
- Monday, March 20th from 3:30pm-6:00pm
We will host a Movie Themed Workshop showing a short film on the big screen in the Hall area. We will each make a “car” for the “Drive-In”! We will also have popcorn and a pizza dinner. $45.00. Space is limited. Sign up in the office!
St. Patrick’s Day Parties 
We will celebrate the “Luck of the Irish” on Thursday, March 16th and Friday, March 17th. We will provide a special “green treat”! Wear your green today.
Reminder, Professional Development Day, Wednesday, March 22nd
Owl’s Crossing Preschool will be closed on Wednesday, March 22nd for the teachers to participate in a day of Professional Development.
Owl’s Café for PreK Classes
Owl’s Café will be open for the PreK Classes on Thursday, March 23rd and Friday, March 24th.
Hootie’s Safety Lessons
“Hootie’s Safety Tip #2” was “Look All Ways When Crossing the Street”. The children learned the song to the tune of “Twinkle, Twinkle”: “Look all ways when you cross the street, pay attention to your feet. Look to the left, and look to the right, make sure there are no cars in sight! Look all ways when you cross the street, staying safe is really neat!” Safety Lesson #3 will be Thursday, March 30th and Friday, March 31st.
PreK Lively Letters for PreK
New sounds for the letters “H, X, Y and E” will be introduced this month.
Letter Days for PreK
O, P, Q and R will be introduced for Letter Recognition Days.
